Kristi Baird – Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools

Kristi Baird has been in education for over 20 years, serving as a teacher, guidance counselor, vice principal, principal, and assistant superintendent of Catholic Schools. Baird is serving as the leader of the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network. She began her career in education in the public school system and taught special education in a local private school. She then accepted a third grade teaching position at St. John Catholic School, a Jubilee school in the Orange Mound area. Baird served ten years at St. John as a teacher and administrator. She was named Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Memphis in 2013.

Kristi and her husband Brian have 3 sons and are parishioners at St. John Catholic Church. Kristi received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University.

De La Salle

Chris Reid – Principal

Mr. Reid has served De La Salle as teacher and counselor for the past seven years, where he has contributed invaluably as a member of the school’s leadership team. In the 2015-2016 school year he served as De La Salle's Interim Dean of Students and Operations before being named Principal in 2016. Mr. Reid received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Christian Brothers University.   

Little Flower 

Tunia Sangster – Principal 

Mrs. Sangster has been a part of the Little Flower family for seven years as an outstanding teacher and Interim Principal. Mrs. Sangster received her bachelor's degree from LeMoyne-Owen College in Business Administration/Marketing and her master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. She has also been accepted into the doctoral program at Grand Canyon University pursuing a degree in Leadership as a Behavioral Health Specialist.   

Memphis Catholic 

Debra Robinson – Acting Administrator  

Mrs.  Robinson was born and raised in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, where she graduated from Horn Lake High School.  After completing Horn Lake High, she moved to Memphis, Tennessee and began studying at Memphis State University, now known as the University of Memphis.  She received a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1993 and began her career with Memphis City Schools as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher.  After 17 years of teaching, Memphis City Schools merged with Shelby County Schools, and Mrs.  Robinson later decided to go back to pursue a Master’s degree in Administration.  She received a Master of Education in Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2007 and later continued her education by receiving a Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading in 2010.  After 22 years with Memphis City Schools and Shelby County Schools, Mrs.  Robinson decided to pursue a career change and began a wonderful career as Vice Principal at Memphis Catholic Middle and High School in June 2016.  She is married and her twins, Jia and Jordan, are seniors at Memphis Catholic.  Her goals are to work diligently daily to meet the needs of each stakeholder who walks into the doors of Memphis Catholic.  She enjoys spending time with her family and taking cruises whenever it is humanly possible.

Connie Hegwood – Principal

James Shelton – Principal 

Mr. Shelton served as a terrific 5th and 6th grade Math and Science teacher for Resurrection for three years before becoming Principal. Mr. Shelton received his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee and his master's degree from Christian Brothers University. You may remember seeing him in Jubilee's 2013 video where he says, "I absolutely love it when children...who are not on the high ability level come seeking my help." He may have moved out of the classroom, but Mr. Shelton's commitment to his students has not wavered a bit.

St. Augustine

Kelsey Bourquin – Principal 

Mrs. Bourquin has 15 years of experience as an educator and a leader. Mrs. Bourquin earned her B.S. in Education with a focus in Integrative Studies from the University of Memphis. She has attended the Martin Institute of Professional Development for three years, the Uncommon School Teach Like a Champion conference in New York, and previously excelled as a fourth grade teacher at St. John Catholic School.

St. Joseph

Leslie Harden – Principal

Mrs. Leslie Harden has returned to St. Jospeh to continue her service as prinicipal.  Mrs. Harden previously served as principal at St. Joseph from 2012-2015 before being placed as Dean of Students at St. George’s Independent Schools-Memphis Campus. She was also a teacher and vice principal at Bishop Byrne Catholic School and principal at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic School.  She has spent most of her life in Catholic schools, both as a student in New Orleans where she was born and raised and as a teacher and administrator in the Diocese of Memphis.

St. John

Rhiannon Thomas – Principal 

Mrs. Thomas has been in the Jubilee family for eight years. She taught first grade at St. John Catholic School for four years, served as principal at St. Patrick for three years, and has now returned to St. John to continue serving as principal. In 2013 she earned the St. John Neumann Outstanding Service Award, and she is currently participating in the Accelerate Institute’s two-year leadership program. Mrs. Thomas received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and her master’s degree in Teaching from Christian Brothers University. 

The Jubilee Support Office

 Di Aur – Development Director

 Mr. Aur most recently provided excellent leadership for Resurrection Catholic School as Principal and Memphis Catholic as Head of School, after having served as president of Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, Missouri and principal of Holy Names Catholic School in Memphis.  Mr. Aur earned his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from the University of Memphis and an additional M.S. degree from Christian Brothers University. He has also worked extensively with Blue Streak Scholarship Fund helping raise money for Jubilee schools.   

Anna Rumfola – Chief Academic Officer 

Mrs. Rumfola previously served as the principal of St. John Catholic School in Orange Mound.  She has worked for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis for seven years as an award-winning teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL and received her master’s degree from the University of Memphis.

Daniel Salvaggio – Director of Data and Assessment

A native Memphian, Mr. Salvaggio received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Christian Brothers University. After graduation he served two years as a Lasallian Volunteer at La Salle School for Boys in Albany, New York. His passion and excitement for Catholic, urban education in Memphis led him back to the Jubilee Schools where he worked for seven years as an outstanding teacher and principal at De La Salle Elementary at Blessed Sacrament. In 2015 he joined the Support Office team to assist teachers and principals in managing and interpreting data to better drive instruction.

Angela Fox – Director of Marketing & Events

Although she is new to the Jubilee support office, she is not new to Jubilee. She has been a volunteer, parent and supporter since the organization's conception. A native Memphian and product of Memphis Catholic schools, Angela received her Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the University of Memphis. She brings with her sixteen years of corporate marketing and design experience. You might also know Angela from her volunteer work with Blue Streak. She serves as chair of the Taste of Jubilee, Blue Streak's highest grossing event with all proceeds going to the Jubilee Catholic Schools.
